Logistics Provisioning Specialist II

Phoenix Group of Virginia, Inc. is looking for a meticulous and skilled Logistics Provisioning Specialist II. The selected individual will play a crucial role in evaluating and interpreting Provisioning Technical Documentation (PTD) and Equipment Data Files (EDFP). This position involves maintaining operational plans, applying technical coding, and generating Provisioning Parts Lists (PPLs) in ICAPS C/S to develop and update Allowance Parts Lists (APLs).
Key Responsibilities:
- Documentation Evaluation: Scrutinize PTD and EDFP for precision and thoroughness.
- Operational Plan Maintenance: Ensure that maintenance plans are current and adhere to necessary standards.
- Technical Coding Application: Implement technical codes, including Source, Maintenance, and Recoverability (SM&R) codes, to pertinent documents and lists.
- PPL Creation: Formulate and revise Provisioning Parts Lists (PPLs) in ICAPS C/S.
- APL Updates: Generate and sustain Allowance Parts Lists (APLs) based on thorough analysis and technical coding.
- APL Worthiness Assessment: Utilize APL worthiness criteria to identify components that qualify for inclusion.
- Maintenance Parts Identification: Locate and document parts significant for maintenance on equipment schematics.
Minimum Qualifications:
- Education: High School diploma or GED.
- Experience: A minimum of three (3) years in reviewing and analyzing PTD/EDFP and maintenance plans.
- Experience in applying technical coding, including SM&R codes.
- Demonstrated success in creating Provisioning Parts Lists (PPLs) in ICAPS C/S.
- Experience in applying APL worthiness rules to determine APL-worthy components.
- Ability to identify maintenance-critical parts on equipment drawings.
Skills and Competencies:
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
- Exceptional attention to detail and accuracy.
- Proficiency in ICAPS C/S and knowledge of technical documentation standards.
- Excellent communication and documentation skills.
- Capability to work independently as well as collaboratively.
Work Environment:
This role may require working in an office environment with occasional travel for on-site analysis and review. The candidate must be adept at managing multiple tasks and meeting deadlines.
