These high-performing professionals will be responsible for the construction, assembly, and fabrication of components made from sheet metal. The role encompasses a variety of tasks, including but not limited to the general fabrication of sheet metal assemblies, metal joiner doors, HVAC systems, and various other products.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Accurately identify different types and gauges of sheet metal using calipers and gauges.
  • Possess a comprehensive understanding of materials including aluminum, stainless steel, galvanized steel, and carbon steel.
  • Review and interpret technical documents such as specifications, drawings, and manuals.
  • Set up and operate a range of power and hand tools, including tape measures, saws, drills, and grinders.
  • Efficiently run CNC and automated machinery, including fiber optic lasers and hydraulic shears.
  • Operate welding equipment for various metals, ensuring high-quality welds.
  • Adhere to safety protocols by wearing required personal protective equipment (PPE) and following safety standards.
  • Recognize quality assurance requirements and report any issues to the QA department or supervisor.
  • Complete necessary documentation related to job processes.
  • Communicate effectively with supervisors and team members to ensure smooth job execution.
  • Follow company policies and procedures diligently.
  • Regularly lift and/or move items weighing up to 50 lbs, with assistance for heavier loads.
  • Occasionally engage in physical activities such as stooping, bending, and squatting.

Experience Requirements:

  • Fabricator III: 2-4 years of experience in an advanced sheet metal environment.
  • Fabricator II: 5-7 years of experience in an advanced sheet metal environment.
  • Fabricator I: 8+ years of experience in an advanced sheet metal environment.

Other Requirements:

  • Ability to read, write, and comprehend instructions effectively.
  • Capability to apply common sense in executing instructions in various forms.
  • Proficiency in calculating and understanding measurements, including fractions and decimals.
  • Experience using scales and tape measures accurately.
  • Willingness to wear necessary PPE, including hard hats and safety goggles.
  • Ability to pass drug screening and work ability assessments.
