- Assist with a variety of routine and significant procurement activities involving materials, suppliers, and services.
- Gather quotations from vendors and execute purchase orders.
- Conduct online research for parts and materials.
- Examine and receive materials, preparing them for storage and shipment.
- Monitor material orders and shipments within inventory management systems.
- Manage hazardous materials as necessary.
- Keep vendor pricing records to track price changes.
- Utilize MS Word and MS Excel for documentation related to projects.
Experience: A minimum of 2 years in material tracking and logistics.
Minimum Education: High School Diploma or GED is required.
Requirements: Candidates must pass a background check and possess a valid driver's license. Eligibility for access to classified information and a DoD clearance is essential.
Physical Abilities:
- Ability to lift up to 100 pounds at once and 60 pounds for extended periods.
- Capability to work at heights of up to 60 feet and climb various structures.
- Perform physical tasks including lifting, squatting, crawling, and reaching overhead.
- Maintain good vision and hearing capabilities.
