Position Overview:

We are seeking an IT Engineer to enhance our growing Information Technology Team. This team is crucial for developing and sustaining the technical infrastructure that enables YipitData's rapid growth and scalability, ensuring our staff is equipped with the necessary tools to perform their roles effectively.

This position offers a hybrid work model in the NYC region, allowing for remote work on designated days.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Administer and troubleshoot systems remotely, including Mac OS laptops, MDM, software, Cloud SaaS, and networking equipment.
  • Support various systems such as Kandji, Google Workspace, CrowdStrike, Slack, Zoom, Okta, and others.
  • Investigate and implement innovative solutions for technical challenges, including processes, file storage, device management, and access permissions.
  • Oversee laptop inventory, ensuring precise tracking and maintenance of all devices.
  • Collaborate with our Security and Infrastructure teams to enforce security protocols.
  • Engage with IT vendors as necessary.
  • Maintain an updated IT asset inventory.
  • Proactively develop and revise documentation and training related to IT processes and resolutions, assisting in the creation of policy documents for internal and external compliance.
Qualifications for Success:
  • A minimum of 2 years of experience in a contemporary IT environment, with proficiency in maintaining and supporting SaaS tools and a solid understanding of MacOS.
  • Ability to automate aspects of the IT environment using programming languages (e.g., Shell scripts, Python).
  • Comfortable in a fast-paced setting, engaging with a diverse range of users with varying levels of expertise.
  • Experience in IT projects that contribute to business transformation.
  • A quick learner with a passion for technology and collaboration.
  • Enjoy working within a small, cohesive team.

  • The anticipated annual base salary for this role is up to $100,000. The final offer will consider various factors, including the applicant's experience, knowledge, skills, and internal benchmarks.
  • This role requires in-person attendance at our headquarters, with a commitment to travel to the office 2-3 days per week.
