Position Overview

The HRIS Technology Specialist will play a pivotal role in managing and optimizing HR initiatives within the NCSA region, focusing on the implementation and enhancement of HRIS solutions tailored to meet both business and HR requirements.

Key Responsibilities
  • Strategic Leadership: Direct and oversee all HRIS projects, ensuring alignment with organizational goals and effective resource management.
  • Data Management: Provide analytical support to the HR function by developing workforce metrics, generating ad hoc reports, and creating insightful dashboards.
  • System Evaluation: Collaborate with HR leadership to assess current HR practices and business systems, identifying areas for improvement and integrating enhancements into the strategic roadmap.
  • Project Coordination: Lead HR teams in initiatives related to workforce management, time and attendance systems, application tracking, and reporting tools, ensuring successful project execution.
  • User Support: Ensure that HR and payroll user needs are met efficiently, maintaining a strong understanding of HR systems and data.
  • Compliance and Quality Control: Guarantee adherence to compliance standards and implement quality controls for all HRIS configurations and integrations.
  • Training and Documentation: Document processes, monitor improvements, and provide training to users to enhance system utilization.
  • Risk Management: Identify potential impacts of system changes and develop mitigation strategies to minimize risks.
  • Liaison Role: Act as a bridge between Global IT and HR teams, facilitating timely resolution of issues.
  • Project Management: Manage regional projects in collaboration with Global Project Managers and key stakeholders, focusing on design and requirements gathering.
  • Testing and Validation: Define test cases, prepare test data, and conduct various testing phases to ensure system functionality.
  • User Acceptance Testing: Coordinate UAT with stakeholders and secure necessary approvals.
  • Hands-On Configuration: Be prepared to configure business processes, security settings, and reporting functionalities as needed.
Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in computer science or a related field.
  • A minimum of 5 years of technical experience with SAP HRIS.
  • Experience with HR, commission, or payroll solution implementations is essential.
  • Familiarity with HR solutions and integrations such as ADP, Kronos, and Salesforce Commerce Cloud is advantageous.
  • Experience supporting HR requirements across North, Central, and South America.
  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to solve complex problems.
  • Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
  • Proficiency in additional languages such as German, Spanish, or Portuguese is a plus.
