Minimum Qualifications
•Reachable on current Civil Service eligible list for this title; OR
•One year of permanent, competitive class service as an Information Technology Specialist 1; OR
•One year of permanent, competitive class service as an Information Technology Specialist 2; OR
•One year of permanent, competitive class service in a title eligible for transfer Section 52.6 of the Civil Service Law; OR

•Candidate should have a basic understanding of email and Office365 products.
•Candidate should be able to install, configure, and troubleshoot software on Windows desktops.
•Candidate must have a good understanding of computer information systems fundamentals to support ITS hardware and software.

Duties Description This position is within the ITS End User Services (EUS) Team in the New York City Office.
•Provide on-site support to end-users and management of ITS hardware equipment at NYSIF.
•Address service requests and provide assistance to end-users as it relates to the issuance of personal computing, both hardware and software.
•Image computers.
•Provide new employee onboarding support.
•Configure mobile devices.
•Support all ITS teams with hardware deployments, installations and system maintenance.
•Create and maintain user and instructional documentation.
•Assist with the ITS hardware asset hardware inventory, including the maintenance of hardware inventory system data, participation in the annual Physical Inventory and hardware disposals.
•Demonstrated ability to engage in good customer service skills when working with end-users is required.
•Experience and sound knowledge of basic computer functionality, including Windows operating systems, is necessary.This position requires the ability to lift up to 50 pounds.
