Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Nurse Advice Line Specialist to join our team at Providence Medical Foundation. As a key member of our healthcare team, you will be responsible for providing expert advice and guidance to patients over the phone, helping them navigate the healthcare system and make informed decisions about their care.

Key Responsibilities
  • Triage incoming calls and assess patient needs
  • Provide accurate and timely advice on healthcare options and resources
  • Facilitate referrals to primary providers, healthcare facilities, and community resources
  • Educate patients on health-related risks, wellness behaviors, and prevention opportunities
  • Collaborate with healthcare teams to ensure seamless care coordination
Requirements
  • Graduate of an accredited school of nursing
  • California Registered Nurse License upon hire
  • Case management or acute care experience in a healthcare setting (2 years preferred)
  • 2 years of Acute or ambulatory nursing experience (7 years preferred)
