Job Title: Corporate Director of Culinary Training

White Lodging is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Corporate Director of Culinary Training to join our team. This key role will be responsible for leading the development and implementation of culinary training programs across the organization.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop and implement comprehensive culinary training programs to ensure consistency and excellence in food quality and service.
  • Collaborate with culinary leaders to identify training needs and develop customized training solutions.
  • Conduct regular audits to ensure compliance with food safety and quality standards.
  • Provide coaching and mentoring to culinary staff to improve skills and knowledge.
  • Lead the development and implementation of new menu concepts and culinary initiatives.
  • Manage and maintain relationships with external partners and vendors to ensure access to best-in-class culinary resources.
  • Develop and manage budgets for culinary training and development initiatives.
  • Other duties as assigned by the Sr. Corporate Director of F&B or the VP of F&B.
Requirements:
  • Minimum 2-year associate's degree in culinary arts or 4-year college degree.
  • Minimum 5 years' experience in high-quality F&B a la carte and catering environments.
  • Formal culinary training/school preferred.
  • Experience in training and opening new restaurant/hotel openings preferred.
  • Advanced culinary skills, including proper knife handling and general kitchen equipment use.
  • Knowledge of HAACP and proper sanitation procedures.
  • Strong communication skills, including verbal, written, and typed.
  • Computer skills, including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook.
  • Ability to work on multiple projects and knowledge of workplace safety procedures.
Preferred Qualifications:
  • ACF Certified - Preferred & Serv-Safe Certified.
  • Able to relocate to Corporate Headquarters in Merrillville, IN and willing to travel 50% of the time.
