Job Summary:
We are seeking a skilled Prep Cook to join our team at Red Lobster. As a Prep Cook, you will play a critical role in ensuring the smooth operation of our kitchen by preparing food items to be cooked and maintaining a clean, organized work area.
Key Responsibilities:
- Food Preparation: Prepare food items to be cooked, including chopping, slicing, and dicing ingredients.
- Food Storage: Ensure that all food is stored properly and in accordance with health and safety regulations.
- Inventory Management: Maintain accurate inventory levels of ingredients and supplies.
- Team Support: Assist the culinary team in preparing and cooking meals, and provide support as needed.
Requirements:
- High School Diploma or Equivalent: Required.
- Culinary Experience: 1+ years of experience in a fast-paced kitchen environment.
- Attention to Detail: Ability to maintain a clean and organized work area, and to accurately prepare and store food.
