Job Summary

We are seeking a highly experienced and skilled professional to join our team as a Senior Business Development Manager. This role will be responsible for developing and executing strategies to grow our partner business with select large, high-revenue travel merchant partners.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and implement comprehensive business plans for assigned accounts, in conjunction with key external and internal stakeholders.
  • Provide project management support on key global travel accounts.
  • Represent client interests and needs internally within Visa, requiring a thorough understanding of the client's objectives, strategies, and financial model.
  • Be accountable for financial reporting, budget tracking, and performance metric reporting.
  • Deepen engagement with assigned travel accounts through cross-selling of non-co-brand Visa products and value-added services.
  • Collaborate with key internal partners, including Finance, Legal, Product, Marketing, and Merchant Sales, on applicable initiatives.
  • Lead the co-brand renewal process for assigned accounts.
  • Demonstrate industry thought leadership and innovation while developing customized go-to-market strategies.
Requirements
  • 10+ years of work experience with a Bachelor's Degree or 8+ years with an Advanced Degree.
  • Extensive industry expertise, knowledge of financial controls, and legal impacts of contract management.
  • Minimum 10 years of business experience with related sales and client management experience.
  • Travel Co-brand Issuer and/or Travel merchant experience managing a co-brand portfolio P&L preferred.
  • Consulting, client management, and/or loyalty/coalition loyalty management experience desired.
  • Proven track record of successful sales and relationship management with senior executives within client organizations.
  • Proven ability to manage and grow internal and external resources and cross-functional relationships.
  • Excellent written and oral communication skills.
  • Ability to communicate across all levels of an organization.
