Senior Business Development Manager

Job Summary
The Senior Business Development Manager at ABM Industries is responsible for driving business growth through strategic sales and business development initiatives. This role requires a strong understanding of the manufacturing and distribution industry vertical, as well as the ability to develop and execute short and long-term sales plans.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and execute sales plans to drive business growth and revenue
- Prospect for new clients and business opportunities through networking, cold calling, and other means
- Grow and retain existing accounts by presenting new solutions and services to clients
- Collaborate with mid and senior level management, marketing, and technical staff to develop and execute sales strategies
- Develop a thorough knowledge of the market, ABM's solutions and services, and competitors
- Develop and maintain a diverse network of relationships with key stakeholders, including clients, partners, and industry influencers
- Effectively manage the assigned budget and resources to achieve sales goals
- Support the company's online and direct marketing campaigns
- Monitor bid schedules and understand the competition in the marketplace
- Assist in training and development of sales staff as needed
Requirements
- 8+ years of experience in business development and sales
- Bachelor's degree or significant related experience
- Strong understanding of the manufacturing and distribution industry vertical
- Proven ability to develop and execute sales plans to drive business growth and revenue
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
- Experience with Salesforce or other CRM software preferred
