Experienced Auto Body Shop Estimator

Hendrick Collision Center Concord is seeking an experienced auto body shop estimator to join our team. As an estimator, you will play a critical role in identifying and documenting necessary body repair work for customers, scheduling body work to be performed, and ensuring that all repairs are completed to the highest standards.
Key Responsibilities:- Schedule appointments with customers and work with them to identify required repair work.
- Offer additional services and repairs to customers, ensuring that they are aware of all options available to them.
- Compute the cost of replacement parts and labor to restore vehicles to their original condition.
- Enter itemized estimates on repair orders and explain them to customers.
- Maintain CSI at or above Company standards and ensure that all repairs are completed to the highest standards.
- Maintain an organized, clean, and safe work area.
- Participate in required training and stay up-to-date on the latest repair techniques and technologies.
- Record all hours worked accurately in the company timekeeping system.
- Follow all safety rules and regulations and demonstrate the Company's Core Values.
- High school diploma or equivalent required; associate's or bachelor's degree preferred.
- Working knowledge of body repair methods and techniques.
- Strong interpersonal and persuasive selling skills.
- Intermediate knowledge of Microsoft Office products and ability to learn Collision Center Management System and other software programs.
- Ability to communicate effectively with customers, company personnel, and insurance adjusters.
- Valid driver's license required.
The position requires regular and predictable attendance, with scheduled shifts including evening hours, weekends, and holidays. The work environment is fast-paced and dynamic, with frequent interaction with customers, Collision Center Technicians, and company personnel.
