Position Overview
This role is pivotal in delivering outstanding service to our customers while adhering to Peoples Bancorp policies. Responsibilities include opening deposit accounts, processing transactions, promoting bank products and services, assisting with maintenance requests, and resolving customer inquiries. You will play a crucial role in helping the branch achieve its objectives while providing top-tier customer service.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide exceptional customer service with a friendly demeanor and a proactive approach.
- Build and maintain customer relationships, ensuring timely responses and effective problem resolution.
- Uphold confidentiality and trust in all customer interactions.
- Engage customers to identify their needs and refer them to appropriate team members.
- Maintain accurate records and address discrepancies as needed.
- Process deposits, verify amounts, and ensure compliance with operational standards.
- Adhere to security, risk management, and compliance protocols.
- Complete all required training related to bank policies and procedures.
- Meet or exceed sales referral goals set by management while maintaining a comprehensive understanding of our products and services.
- Utilize organizational knowledge to provide effective solutions to customer issues.
- Conduct outreach to clients and prospects to achieve branch calling goals.
- Participate in special projects as assigned.
- High School Diploma or GED; one to two years of relevant experience or training, or a combination of education and experience.
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment with a strong attention to detail.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills.
- Professional demeanor and positive attitude.
- Team-oriented with reliable transportation.
- Willingness to travel for training and meetings as necessary.
- Trustworthy and able to maintain confidentiality.
