Job Description

**About the Role**

Jim Tom - State Farm Agent is seeking an experienced and licensed Insurance Agent to join our team in an In-Office position. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for building and maintaining strong relationships with clients to understand and fulfill their insurance needs.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement sales strategies to grow our business through value-based conversations and exceptional customer experiences.
  • Actively sell, promote, and service various insurance policies, including Property & Casualty, Life & Health, to both individual and business clients.
  • Guide clients through different insurance coverage options and assist with policy renewals and changes.
  • Collaborate with the agent to develop and achieve marketing goals.
  • Utilize leads effectively, schedule appointments, and provide personalized solutions to clients.

Requirements:

  • Illinois State insurance licenses (Property & Casualty, Life & Health) are required. If not, licenses must be acquired prior to office training.
  • 2 yrs of experience in the insurance industry with a proven track record of service/retention and/or sales success preferred.
  • Proficiency in sales, customer service, retention, and innovative prospecting.
  • Positive attitude, coachable, energetic, enthusiastic, and ability to build rapport.
  • Strong communication skills, both verbal and written, and the ability to work effectively in a team.
  • Bilingual in Spanish is preferred.
