About the Role

We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Veteran Family Support Specialist to join our Supportive Services for Veteran Families program. As a key member of our team, you will play a critical role in connecting with potential clients, assessing their eligibility for our program, and providing essential support services.

Key Responsibilities
  • Client Outreach and Engagement: Establish relationships with potential clients, provide clear explanations of our program, and assess eligibility for services.
  • Program Enrollment and Case Management: Collect and review eligibility documentation, enroll eligible clients, and assemble case files for transfer to our case management team.
  • Referral and Resource Provision: Provide referrals to other programs for clients not eligible for our services and connect them with essential resources.
Requirements and Qualifications
  • Education and Experience: Associate's degree or equivalent experience and skills in case management, assessment, and crisis intervention.
  • Communication and Interpersonal Skills: Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with clients and colleagues.
  • Attention to Detail and Organization: Outstanding attention to detail, with strong organizational and documentation skills.
