Job Overview

Simon Quick Advisors is seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented Investment Analyst to join our team. As an Investment Analyst, you will play a critical role in supporting the broader team in investment research, monitoring, trading, and strategy implementation processes.

Key Responsibilities
  • Conduct market and manager diligence for potential investment or termination under the supervision of senior analysts
  • Primary back-up to Head of Trading for daily trading activities
  • Responsible for coverage of a list of active investments across asset types and investment strategies and serves as the firm's point of contact with those managers
  • Participate in investment manager meetings and disseminate notes
  • Prepare materials and participate in Investment Team, Committee, and Strategy meetings
  • Draft memos and presentations, in addition to other forms of communication to support the firm's investment and education efforts and client advisor relationships
  • Operational support for private funds, including capital flow management, investment subscription/redemptions, projects as needed
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree
  • 1-2 years of relevant experience in finance or investing
  • Strong interest in financial markets, economics, and the investment industry
  • Strong organizational, time management, and written/oral communication skills
  • Process-driven and proactive with excellent problem-solving and analytical skills
  • Strong attention to detail
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks while meeting deadlines
  • Experience with Microsoft Office, particularly Excel and PowerPoint
