We are currently seeking a Business Systems Analyst to enhance our global operations. As a vital member of the business systems development team, you will be tasked with conducting requirements analysis, crafting design documentation, and developing applications and reports across various business systems. In your supportive role within the IT team, you will also help resolve operational issues related to business systems.
Key Responsibilities:
- Engage with stakeholders to identify and document business requirements.
- Perform requirements gathering and analysis through interviews and research.
- Evaluate business needs and recommend system design enhancements.
- Create design documentation and proposals for system improvements.
- Develop, implement, and maintain applications based on approved designs.
- Collaborate with programmers to automate business systems and produce reports.
- Provide training to end users on ERP and application functionalities.
- Implement barcoding systems in various operational facilities.
Qualifications & Experience:
- Bachelor's degree in Information Systems or Computer Science is preferred.
- A minimum of 5 years of experience in business/systems analysis and application development/programming.
- At least 5 years of direct experience with ERP applications, preferably in a manufacturing setting.
- Extensive knowledge of ERP, MRP, inventory management, manufacturing, logistics, forecasting, and procurement concepts.
- Experience with IBM iSeries is essential for this role.
- Strong expertise in BPCS Manufacturing, Sales & Distribution, Financial applications, and general ERP functionalities.
- Proficient in OS/400, AS400 Command Language, RPG/400, RPGIV, RPG free, SQL/400, CL/400, Microsoft SQL Server, and related technologies (SSIS, stored procedures, basic SQL server administration).
- Exceptional interpersonal, written, and verbal communication skills, along with critical thinking and strong analytical abilities to address complex problems.
- Experience with business intelligence software design, such as Cognos; familiarity with Tableau or other visual analytical tools is a plus.
- Experience supporting a global, multi-location business environment.
- Willingness to travel domestically and internationally as required.
The anticipated salary range for this position is $87,300 - $106,700; actual compensation may vary based on factors such as experience, education, training, licensure, certification, location, and other job-related, non-discriminatory factors as permitted by law.
This position is also eligible for a short-term incentive bonus and includes benefits such as a 401(k) plan, medical, dental, vision, life, and disability insurance, paid time off, paid holidays, and paid sick leave.
