Key ResponsibilitiesClient Engagement
  • Participate in client meetings to document their planning needs and current situations.
  • Provide meeting summaries to clients as needed.
  • Act as the primary contact for gathering information from new clients.
  • Review incoming data and input it into our planning systems.
  • Collaborate with lead advisors to develop financial planning recommendations.
  • Conduct analyses of existing investments and assist in formulating investment strategies.
  • Evaluate client risk tolerance and provide insights to lead advisors.
  • Prepare essential planning deliverables for review.
  • Maintain organized and up-to-date client files.
  • Potentially serve as the lead advisor for new clients based on service offerings.
Investment Oversight
  • Classify new securities within reporting systems.
  • Assist in reconciling trades.
  • Support lead advisors in developing client investment strategies.
  • Implement investment plans and manage settings in trading software.
  • Monitor client accounts for trading opportunities and propose actions to lead advisors.
  • Review performance reports for accuracy and necessary actions.
  • Develop and present Investment Policy Statements (IPS) to clients.
Additional Duties
  • Ensure compliance with Required Minimum Distributions (RMDs) annually.
  • Coordinate with the operations team for timely processing of action items.
  • Collaborate with clients' legal and accounting professionals on plan execution.
  • Assist with non-operational client inquiries.
  • Participate in internal committees as assigned.
Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree is required.
  • Possession of Series 65 license (or ability to obtain within 90 days of hire).
  • Completion of some CFP curriculum or relevant coursework is preferred.
  • 2-3 years of experience in a professional setting is advantageous.
  • Diverse backgrounds and experiences are welcomed.
