Position Overview
The Accounting Clerk will work under the guidance of the Accounting Manager and Junior Staff Accountant, providing essential support for various accounting functions, particularly in accounts receivable. This role combines data entry and clerical duties while offering exposure to all facets of accounts receivable, presenting an opportunity for professional growth in accounting.
Key Responsibilities:
- Support accounts receivable operations, including preparing billing based on information from the general ledger and hour reports.
- Record cash transactions accurately.
- Effectively utilize bookkeeping databases, spreadsheets, and financial software.
- Assist in generating supporting documentation for accounts receivable billing.
Required Qualifications:
- High School Diploma or equivalent is mandatory.
- 1-2 years of experience in data entry is preferred.
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy is essential.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel is required.
- Demonstrated integrity, trustworthiness, and professionalism, with the ability to maintain confidentiality.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills are necessary.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Prior experience in billing and payment processing is advantageous.
- Familiarity with accounting software such as Sage 50 Cloud and Concur is a plus.
Additional Duties and Requirements:
- Manage and document cash receipts.
- Process monthly invoices for services rendered.
- Ensure adherence to CCLB policies, procedures, and internal controls.

Compensation and Benefits:
- Starting salary ranges from $48,817.60 to $58,572.80, depending on experience and education.
