Location
This role is entirely remote within the Bank's operational area.
The employee will engage in full-time remote work, with occasional attendance at in-person meetings, although the primary responsibilities are carried out remotely.
Requirements
A bachelor's degree from an accredited institution in a business-related discipline is mandatory. A major in Accounting or Finance is preferred.
A minimum of 5 years of experience in a Federal Bank Examiner, Loan Review, or Credit Analysis role is essential.
BAI Loan Review Certification or RMA Credit Risk Certification is preferred.
Job Overview
SUMMARY:
Under the guidance of the Director of Loan Review, this position will support the independent and objective assessment of the loan portfolio's quality, the sufficiency of loan documentation, and the efficiency of loan administration processes.

Ability to present information effectively to management and various employee levels within the organization.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
Possess a comprehensive understanding of commercial and consumer lending, banking regulations, and laws to effectively assist in evaluating credit risk and ensuring compliance with loan policies and procedures.
Evaluate the collectability of credit extensions by reviewing customer financial data, collateral details, documentation, and payment history. Assign appropriate risk grades to indicate the relative risk of default or loss. Recommend corrective measures to facilitate the resolution or management of problematic situations.
Assess the adequacy of loan and collateral documentation and the efficiency of loan administration.
Review commercial credits of varying types and complexities.
Lead exit meetings for unit reviews.
Work under the supervision of the Loan Review Department Manager.
ADDITIONAL REQUIREMENTS:
As banking is a highly regulated sector, you are expected to acquire and maintain proficiency in the Bank's policies and procedures, adhering to all applicable laws, rules, and regulations related to your conduct and responsibilities.
Proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook.
Ability to utilize provided tools in executing job responsibilities.
Must develop a solid understanding of commercial lending, including collateral documentation, accepted practices, and financial analysis skills.
Ability to read, analyze, and interpret financial reports and legal documents.
Ability to draft reports for management that adhere to prescribed styles and formats.
Ability to identify problems, gather data, establish facts, and draw valid conclusions.
Ability to interpret a variety of technical and financial information and manage both subjective and concrete variables.
