Turner & Townsend is looking for a skilled Senior Electrical Estimator to deliver exceptional cost management services that align with client goals. This role will involve collaboration with our team to oversee electrical estimates and cost consulting for a diverse range of projects, including commercial, data center, industrial, high-tech, and manufacturing sectors.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop and present comprehensive cost plans.
  • Conduct estimates at various stages, including conceptual and detailed levels.
  • Support feasibility studies and prepare procurement documentation.
  • Manage procurement processes, including pre-qualification, bid analysis, and contract documentation.
  • Engage in post-contract cost variance management and change control processes.
  • Oversee cost checks and valuations for larger projects, ensuring accuracy and timeliness.
  • Prepare and present monthly post-contract cost reports to clients.
  • Contribute to value engineering efforts and negotiate final accounts.
  • Maintain effective communication with clients and consultants throughout project phases.
  • Provide leadership to the cost management team as needed, ensuring accountability in all areas.
  • Identify opportunities for business development with existing clients and report findings to management.
  • Propose enhancements for cost management processes and tools.
Qualifications:
  • Extensive experience in cost management, including pre-contract, post-contract, and final account phases.
  • Strong presentation, verbal, written, and communication skills.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office, AutoCAD, Navisworks, and related software.
  • Excellent organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks and work collaboratively.
  • In-depth knowledge of construction procurement methods.
  • Experience advising clients on value management and lifecycle costing.
  • Familiarity with business development practices.
  • Broad knowledge and experience across various industry sectors.
Education and Experience:
  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Construction Management, Quantity Surveying, or a related technical field.
  • Experience with large-scale data center or commercial construction projects.
  • Proven track record in preparing substantial electrical cost estimates.
  • Background in electrical systems within construction environments.
  • Experience with MEP (Mechanical, Electrical, and Plumbing) systems is advantageous.
  • Solid understanding of electrical systems related to data center and commercial construction.
Additional Information:

The salary range for this full-time position is $130K-$160K annually, reflecting the base salary only and not the total compensation package. Turner & Townsend reserves the right to adjust this range based on the candidate's qualifications and experience.
