Key Responsibilities

  • Develop a thorough understanding of project requirements and specifications.
  • Identify and select appropriate metrics to ensure accurate estimates.
  • Conduct site visits and inspections to gather vital information.
  • Review project documentation and consult with specialists to obtain necessary data.
  • Analyze collected data to produce reliable forecasts.
  • Conduct risk assessments to identify potential challenges.
  • Prepare detailed reports and bids for submission to relevant stakeholders.
  • Evaluate offers and quotes to select the most beneficial options.
  • Build and maintain relationships with key partners, including subcontractors and architects.

Qualifications

  • A bachelor's degree in construction management, engineering, or a related field, or equivalent experience.
  • A minimum of 6-8 years of experience in estimating, cost control, or engineering, with at least 4 years focused on estimating in similar construction environments.
  • Strong coordination and leadership skills to guide team efforts.
  • Proficient in computer systems and software relevant to the estimating process.
  • Technical expertise in mechanical and electrical systems, along with familiarity with structural and architectural disciplines, codes, and regulations.
