Job Overview

We are seeking a highly skilled Lead Construction Project Manager with extensive experience in overseeing large-scale construction initiatives, particularly in vertical structures. This position is ideal for an individual who excels in dynamic environments and is dedicated to building not just structures, but enduring legacies. Experience in airport construction projects will be particularly valuable as we broaden our focus on developing premier aviation facilities.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Direct and synchronize the activities of contractors, ensuring the successful completion and occupancy of construction projects.
  • Ensure that the advancement and quality of construction tasks are in line with approved timelines and financial plans.
  • Supervise a diverse team including Resident Engineers, Assistant Resident Engineers, Project Engineers, Document Control Clerks, and Field Inspectors, fostering a culture of excellence and accuracy.
  • Conduct thorough reviews and approvals of construction documents, ensuring all designs adhere to the highest standards of feasibility, scope, schedule, and budget.
  • Lead the Quality Assurance Program, ensuring that every project component surpasses industry benchmarks.
  • Facilitate effective communication at all levels, from regular construction meetings to coordination with local utilities, to promote a cohesive project atmosphere.
  • Expertly handle contract management, change orders, and project closure processes for high-value projects.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's Degree in Engineering, preferably in a civil discipline.
  • Registered Professional Engineer or Certified Construction Manager, with a minimum of 10 years of experience in construction contract management and field oversight.
  • Proven track record in managing large-scale construction projects, with a strong preference for candidates with airport construction experience.
  • Familiarity with various project delivery methods (Design-Bid-Build, Design-Build, and CMR contracts).
  • In-depth knowledge of safety protocols, quality control plans, and project management software utilization.
  • Outstanding leadership capabilities, with a history of directing, coordinating, and supervising construction management teams.
