As a Senior Health, Safety, & Environmental (HSE) Specialist, you will be entrusted with ensuring the safety and well-being of our workforce in a dynamic environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assessing and identifying hazardous conditions in the workplace, conducting preliminary evaluations of dangerous substances, and implementing measures to eliminate risks while safeguarding employees through proper training and the use of protective equipment.
- Ensuring compliance with federal and state safety regulations, maintaining accurate records, and preparing necessary documentation as mandated.
- Engaging in inspections and addressing any safety citations in collaboration with regulatory bodies.
- Investigating incidents and accidents, working closely with management and safety authorities to determine root causes and prevent future occurrences.
- Delivering training sessions on safe work practices, advising on safety protocols, and performing audits to verify adherence to organizational and governmental safety standards.
- Formulating and executing policies aimed at identifying and mitigating workplace hazards.
- Monitoring and analyzing data related to workplace injuries and illnesses to pinpoint areas needing attention and reporting findings to relevant authorities.
Qualifications:
- A Bachelor's Degree or equivalent experience in a related field.
- Proficiency in reading, writing, and communicating effectively in English.
- A minimum of 5 years of relevant experience in health and safety.
- Relocation and sponsorship options are not available for this position.
