Position: Wine Sales Consultant

Role Summary: We are seeking enthusiastic, proactive, and articulate individuals to join our dynamic sales team. The ideal candidate is results-oriented, possesses a strong aptitude for learning, and is skilled in managing information and technology effectively. As a Wine Sales Consultant, you will be responsible for generating sales from wine enthusiasts who have an established connection with our client wineries.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide personalized recommendations and information on wines that suit customers' preferences and lifestyles.
  • Ensure that customers' favorite wines are consistently available and introduce them to new selections and special releases.
  • Keep customers informed about winery events and activities.

Requirements:

  • Minimum of 1-3 years of experience in Call Center or Remote Phone Sales.
  • Familiarity with wine is beneficial but not mandatory; training will be provided.
  • Ability to effectively handle objections and close sales over the phone.
  • Excellent verbal communication skills.
  • Must be at least 21 years of age.
  • Reliable high-speed internet connection and a designated workspace for remote work.
  • Proficient in basic computer skills, including CRM software and inventory management systems.
  • Demonstrated adaptability to learn new technologies and troubleshoot common issues independently.
  • Availability to work specified hours from a home office.

Compensation and Benefits:

  • Hourly pay plus commission (successful sales representatives can earn $18-$30 or more per hour, including commission).
