Account Manager

The Account Executive plays a crucial role in meeting and exceeding local and national sales goals by selling our outstanding inventory to qualified advertisers. This involves developing new business through direct customer outreach and high-level agency contacts.
Key Responsibilities- Drive revenue target attainment on a monthly, quarterly, and annual basis
- Prospect and develop new customer relationships, persuasively communicating strategies for meeting customer needs within assigned markets/territory
- Conduct outside sales activities, including obtaining orders and/or contracts for Clear Channel services, while away from the office
- Ensure customer satisfaction by facilitating various aspects of the customer's account in coordination with graphics, operations, marketing, collections, and finance staff
- Generate media kits and proposals based on customer needs, with support from the marketing team
- Negotiate fees or services with clients, with management approval
- Oversee sales from start to finish and ensure client satisfaction
- Develop and maintain sales pipeline reports, accurately forecasting revenue projections
- Communicate and coordinate with internal departments to sufficiently service clients
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent combination of education, training, experience, or military experience required
- 2-3 years of sales experience; Media/Advertising sales preferred
- Demonstrated track record of business-to-business sales experience
- Proficient in Microsoft software applications (i.e., Word, Excel, Outlook, and PowerPoint) and social media platforms
- Sales achievement with experience in consultative or needs-based selling techniques
- Able to complete required math calculations (e.g., multiply, divide, rate, ratio, percent, produce/interpret bar graphs)
- Sales and marketing skills
- Understanding of sales cycle and selling skills
- Account Management: Building long-term, value-based relationships with accounts, developing business, and maximizing revenue while reducing time and costs
- Fostering Communication: Listening and communicating openly, honestly, and respectfully with different audiences, promoting dialogue and effectively getting the message across
- Initiative: Dealing with situations and issues proactively and persistently, seizing opportunities that arise
- Managing the Sales Process: Following the organization's sales methodology in applying skills and resources to achieve sales targets
- Negotiating: Seeking to resolve different perspectives or matters of dispute by discovering shared interests and finding mutually acceptable solutions
- Networking: Establishing, sustaining, and fostering professional contacts to build, enhance, and connect networks for work purposes
- Presentation: Preparing and delivering presentations in a variety of formal and informal settings, engaging the audience, and managing logistical components

This position primarily involves working both in an office environment and in the field, making sales calls, and servicing existing accounts.
Employee must have the ability to lift and move items up to 15 pounds. Employee must have the ability to see written documents and computer screens, and to adjust focus.
Able to travel outside of the office at least 50% of the time for meetings and industry events.
Has a valid driver's license. Access to a reliable vehicle.
