About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Staff Clinician to join our team at Georgetown University. As a key member of our Counseling and Psychiatric Services (CAPS) team, you will play a vital role in providing psychotherapy, counseling, outreach, and consultation services to our students.

Key Responsibilities
  • Deliver individual, group, and crisis intervention services to students, with a focus on those from marginalized identities.
  • Develop and implement outreach programming and consultation services to University offices and students.
  • Supervise trainees as designated by the Associate Director for Training.
  • Manage notes and documentation, attend meetings, and complete other responsibilities as designated by supervisor and/or Director.
Requirements and Qualifications

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • A Master's degree in Social Work (MSW), Ph.D., Ed.D., or Psy.D. in a relevant field.
  • Demonstrated experience as a psychologist or mental health professional.
  • A D.C. license in psychology or social work, obtained within one year of hire date.
  • Previous experience in a university counseling center, providing outreach services to students from diverse backgrounds.
