Staff Clinician/Diversity Specialist

Georgetown University is committed to fostering a diverse and inclusive community. As a Staff Clinician/Diversity Specialist, you will play a vital role in promoting social justice and supporting students from diverse backgrounds.

The Staff Clinician/Diversity Specialist will provide psychotherapy, counseling, outreach, and consultation services to Georgetown students, as well as consultations to deans, faculty, staff, and parents. This position reports to the Associate Director for Multicultural Initiatives and is responsible for consulting and liaising with offices such as GSP, CSP, CMEA, and other spaces for first-generation students and students of color.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Deliver psychotherapy, counseling, outreach, and consultation services to Georgetown students
  • Consult and liaise with offices such as GSP, CSP, CMEA, and other spaces for first-generation students and students of color
  • Provide outreach programming and consultation to University offices and students
  • Supervise trainees as designated by the Associate Director for Training

Requirements:

  • C. license in psychology or social work must be obtained within one year of hire date
  • Previous experience in a university counseling center providing outreach services to the student population is highly preferred
