Role Overview
The Senior Accountant, under the guidance of the Regional Accounting Leader, will serve as the financial backbone for designated business units. This position involves overseeing financial records, conducting analyses, and preparing comprehensive reports.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and maintain accurate accounting records, including general accounting and costing.
  • Prepare financial statements and management reports.
  • Compile and analyze financial data to prepare entries for general ledger accounts and document business transactions.
  • Manage monthly close processes, reporting, and general ledger reconciliations.
  • Assist in implementing accounting policies and internal controls.
  • Maintain the Chart of Accounts and financial reporting structure.
  • Analyze financial results against plans and forecasts.
  • Review accounting transactions including revenue, expenses, payroll entries, and invoices.
  • Input and manage financial data and reports within Creation's financial systems.
  • Collaborate with internal and external auditors during audits.
  • Perform additional duties as assigned.

Experience Requirements
The candidate should have:
  • A solid understanding of International Financial Reporting Standards (IFRS).
  • A minimum of 5 years of accounting experience in a dynamic business environment, preferably within a mid-large manufacturing company.
  • At least 2 years of experience in cost accounting.
  • Demonstrated ability to partner effectively with senior business leaders.
  • Strong analytical and financial modeling skills to interpret and communicate financial performance.
  • A track record of contributing to a high-performance accounting team.
  • Familiarity with Tier 1 ERP systems (preferably Oracle or SAP).
  • Proficiency in MS Office Suite.

Qualifications & Skills
The following qualifications are preferred:
  • A Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Business, or a related field.
  • A CPA designation is highly desirable, though not mandatory.
  • Candidates demonstrating equivalent knowledge and expertise through education and relevant experience will also be considered.

Compensation
In compliance with pay transparency requirements, the anticipated starting pay for this position is between USD $80k-$100k per year. Full-time employees are also eligible for performance-based bonuses and benefits.
