Key Responsibilities:

  • Process payroll with different cycles for multiple clients, ensuring accuracy and timeliness.
  • Handle the filing of Payroll taxes and tax liabilities payments for multiple clients, maintaining compliance with regulatory requirements.
  • Provide excellent customer service by directly engaging with clients, addressing their inquiries and concerns in a professional and courteous manner.
  • Assist with various accounting projects in the office, if required, demonstrating flexibility and a willingness to learn.

Required Qualifications and Skills:

  • 2+ years of experience in managing payroll, with a strong background in accounting principles and practices.
  • Proficiency in QuickBooks Desktop and QBO, with the ability to learn and adapt to new software systems.
  • Bilingual - Fluent in English and Spanish (Reading, writing, and speaking), with excellent communication skills.
  • Strong knowledge of MS Office applications, especially Excel and Word, with the ability to create reports and presentations.
  • Attention to detail, dependability, and honesty, with a strong work ethic and a commitment to excellence.
  • Ability to work efficiently under tight timelines, prioritizing tasks and managing multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Effective communication skills, with the ability to work collaboratively with colleagues and clients.
  • Proficient in data entry and bookkeeping principles, with a strong understanding of financial regulations and compliance.
  • Strong organizational and teamwork skills, with a positive attitude and enthusiasm towards work.
