Administrative Coordinator

This position will be on-site full-time in Providence, RI, and the successful candidate will need to be within commuting distance (within 45 minutes).
Key Responsibilities- Support the purchasing department with administrative tasks and projects, including tracking purchase orders, reviewing certificates of compliance, and ensuring accuracy and completeness.
- Enter purchase orders, print and email purchase orders, and check on the status of deliveries.
- Complete filing, assist with updating information in the Purchasing ERP system, and use Excel to assist with project forecasts and tracking.
- Provide backup support to the customer service supervisor, including processing and confirming customer purchase orders, reviewing sales orders, and maintaining customer quote files within the ERP system.
- High School diploma or general education degree (GED) and 1-3 years' office work experience.
- Strong attention to detail, organizational skills, and ability to multi-task.
- Detail-oriented and accurate, with a pleasant and welcoming demeanor.
- Experience with Microsoft Outlook, Word, and Excel, as well as ERP systems, is desired.
- Familiarity with personal computers and computer hardware is also required.
