Key Responsibilities:

  • Deliver first-contact support for incoming requests via various channels to ensure prompt and effective resolution of user issues.
  • Maintain communication with clients regarding the status of their requests and provide timely updates.
  • Document and track service desk incidents within the designated application.
  • Collaborate with team members to devise solutions for customer inquiries and escalate issues as necessary.
  • Provide initial support for users on Windows and MAC systems, printers, mobile devices, Microsoft 365, Active Directory, and basic troubleshooting.
  • Manage user accounts, including additions, removals, password resets, and permission adjustments.
  • Possess a foundational understanding of IP addresses, subnet masks, gateways, and DNS.
  • Utilize remote access tools to assist with various topics, including VPNs and Citrix.
  • Troubleshoot using current technologies such as Active Directory, VPNs, Microsoft 365, and various operating systems and applications.

Qualifications:

  • A few years of relevant experience, preferably in a client-facing role within the Managed Services or IT Services sector.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with a strong emphasis on customer service.
  • Ability to manage challenging conversations and set client expectations effectively.
  • Sound judgment and decision-making capabilities to independently resolve customer issues.
  • Ability to excel in a fast-paced, SLA-driven environment while maintaining a high standard of service.
  • Flexibility to switch between various tasks and responsibilities.
  • Strong focus and attention to detail in a collaborative workspace.
  • Willingness to work flexible hours, including nights and weekends if necessary.
  • Preferred educational background includes an Associate or Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science or a related field.
  • Technical certifications such as CompTIA A+, Network+, Security+, Microsoft 365, and Apple certifications are advantageous.
