Position Title: Clinical Dietitian II

Aramark Healthcare is in search of a dedicated and skilled Clinical Dietitian II to enhance our healthcare services.

This position is focused on delivering nutritional care to pediatric patients requiring transitional and rehabilitation support. The work schedule is full-time, Monday through Friday, with the possibility of weekend shifts.

The HSC Pediatric Center (HSCPC) stands as the sole pediatric institution in the Washington, D.C. area, exclusively committed to rehabilitation and transitional care for children and adolescents from infancy to 21 years old.

We ensure seamless access to a variety of family-centered medical and therapeutic services tailored to meet the unique needs of each child.

Our collaboration with Children’s National enables us to provide exceptional care for children transitioning from traditional hospital settings to home environments.

Compensation Details

The compensation range for this role is between $70,000 and $85,000, influenced by factors such as the applicant's skills, qualifications, relevant experience, and market conditions.

Additional compensation may include bonuses or commissions, where applicable.

This estimate reflects Aramark's good faith assessment of the compensation range at the time of posting.

Upon hiring, the employee will be considered 'at-will,' and Aramark reserves the right to adjust base salary and other compensation programs at any time for various reasons, including individual performance and market factors.


Key Responsibilities
  • Conduct thorough nutritional assessments, including medical and dietary histories, to create personalized nutrition plans.
  • Provide nutrition education and counseling to patients and their families to support health and disease management.
  • Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams, including physicians and nursing staff, to ensure comprehensive patient care.
  • Manage enteral and parenteral nutrition support, including tube feeding and intravenous nutrition therapy.
  • Develop and implement nutrition policies and procedures to guarantee quality care and adherence to regulations.
  • Stay updated with the latest advancements in nutrition and recommend improvements for ongoing development.

Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in Nutrition or Dietetics from an accredited institution.
  • Registered Dietitian Nutritionist (RDN) credential and a current state license.
  • A minimum of 2 years of experience in a clinical environment.
  • Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Strong analytical and critical thinking capabilities.
