Aramark Healthcare+ is in search of a dedicated and skilled Pediatric Nutrition Specialist to become a vital part of our healthcare team. This position is focused on delivering nutritional care to pediatric patients requiring transitional and rehabilitation services.
Work Schedule:
Full-time, Monday through Friday, with occasional weekend shifts.

The HSC Pediatric Center is a unique institution in the Washington, D.C. area, exclusively committed to providing rehabilitation and transitional care for children and adolescents from infancy to 21 years of age. We ensure seamless access to a variety of family-centered medical and therapeutic services tailored to meet the needs of each child. Our collaboration with Children’s National enhances our ability to deliver exceptional care for children transitioning from traditional hospital settings to home environments.

Compensation:
The salary range for this role is between $70,000 and $85,000, influenced by factors such as the applicant's qualifications, relevant experience, and market conditions. Additional compensation may include bonuses or commissions where applicable. This represents Aramark's good faith estimate of the compensation range for this position at the time of posting.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct thorough nutritional evaluations, including medical and dietary histories, to create personalized nutrition plans.
- Provide nutrition education and counseling to patients and their families to facilitate health and disease management.
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams, including healthcare providers, to ensure comprehensive patient care.
- Oversee enteral and parenteral nutrition support, including tube feeding and intravenous nutrition therapy.
- Develop and implement nutrition policies and procedures to guarantee quality care and adherence to regulations.
- Stay informed about the latest advancements in nutrition and propose recommendations for ongoing improvement.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Nutrition or Dietetics from an accredited institution.
- Registered Dietitian Nutritionist (RDN) credential and a current license in the state.
- A minimum of 2 years of experience in a clinical environment.
- Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills.
- Strong analytical and critical thinking capabilities.
