The Position

We are seeking a Veterinary School Admissions Advisor. If you possess a strong passion for mentoring, consulting, and education, this role may be an excellent fit for you. You will collaborate closely with students, monitor their academic journeys, and guide them throughout the admissions process, assisting them in achieving their aspirations of attending veterinary school.

Key Responsibilities

  • Assist prospective veterinary school candidates in identifying opportunities to enhance their profiles and craft compelling application materials.
  • Maintain relationships with applicants and their families, offering strategic and tactical advice on school selection, personal statements, resumes, recommendations, interviews, and the overall admissions process.
  • Evaluate and recommend suitable veterinary schools for individual students; provide constructive feedback and guidance regarding their research on relevant majors, programs, and resources.
  • Support students in project management, helping them establish and adhere to effective timelines using tracking tools.
  • Work closely with students to develop impactful personal statements and essays by providing direction on structure, editing their submissions, and assisting them in articulating strong narratives while preserving their unique voice.
  • Stay informed about the veterinary school admissions landscape and programs to offer informed advice to prospective and current clients regarding school selection and application nuances.

Qualifications

  • Graduated from or currently enrolled in a top veterinary program in the United States.
  • A genuine enthusiasm for coaching and mentoring.
  • Strong organizational and planning abilities.
  • Excellent proficiency in English reading, writing, and editing.
  • Outstanding communication skills.
  • Expertise in project management.
  • Experience in education, coaching, tutoring, or admissions consulting is a plus.
