The Valet Attendant plays a crucial role in providing exceptional service by managing the parking and retrieval of guests' vehicles efficiently while ensuring their safety. Key Responsibilities

  • Welcome and greet guests and visitors upon arrival at the hotel.
  • Bid farewell to departing guests, wishing them safe travels.
  • Assist guests with their luggage upon arrival and departure, ensuring proper storage and logging when necessary.
  • Address all guest inquiries, comments, and concerns with professionalism and promptness, ensuring appropriate follow-up actions are taken.
  • Open vehicle doors for arriving guests and provide assistance as needed.
  • Safely remove luggage from guests' vehicles and coordinate its delivery to the hotel.
  • Escort guests to the lobby and reception area, assisting with luggage as required.
  • Arrange transportation for guests by calling taxis and providing directions when necessary.
  • Park guest vehicles in designated hotel parking areas as needed.
  • Manage traffic flow in front of the hotel to ensure a clear and safe entrance.
  • Greet guests with a friendly demeanor and guide them into the hotel.
  • Promote hotel amenities and services while accompanying guests.
  • Support the Guest Services Team by answering phones and assisting with front desk duties as needed.
  • Ensure guest satisfaction by responding to requests and inquiries in a courteous and efficient manner, adapting to changing work hours as necessary to maintain service quality.

Qualifications

Education:
High School diploma or equivalent.

Experience:

  • Minimum of 1 year in customer service or a related field.
  • Must possess a clean driving record.
  • Availability to work varied shifts, including weekends and holidays.

Knowledge and Skills:

  • Proficient in basic customer service principles with strong verbal and written communication skills in English.
  • Familiarity with local businesses and community.
  • Ability to operate both automatic and manual vehicles.
  • Valid driver's license is required.
