Role Summary:

We are seeking a dedicated individual contributor to enhance our presence in the space sector. This role will report directly to the Chief Revenue Officer and will not have direct reports. The primary focus will be on US Government space initiatives and unmanned systems, while also exploring opportunities in commercial space and autonomous systems.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct thorough prospecting through effective capture management, ensuring awareness of US Government Space Opportunities and aligning mission requirements with our cybersecurity solutions.
  • Identify, engage, and manage strategic partnerships to facilitate the adoption of our technologies in response to end-user needs.
  • Shape technical initiatives with government entities, articulating requirements that may not yet be recognized by the customer.
  • Lead individual capture efforts from initial shaping through to proposal submission and successful closure.
  • Generate sales-qualified leads, identify target accounts, develop a robust pipeline, and manage opportunities through the sales process.
  • Establish OEM partner agreements with systems integrators and solution providers.
  • Represent the company at industry events and contribute to thought leadership through white papers.
  • Conduct comprehensive market research and analysis to inform strategic decisions.
  • Act as a subject matter expert as needed and undertake additional responsibilities as required.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in a relevant field is required.
  • Must maintain an active security clearance (TS/SCI).
  • A minimum of three years of proven experience in developing solutions and securing opportunities within the US Government sector.
  • In-depth knowledge of the space industry and government acquisition processes.
  • Exceptional verbal and written communication skills, capable of engaging with a diverse range of stakeholders from operators to senior government officials.
  • Ability to collaborate effectively within a team to address customer needs.
  • Strong organizational skills and meticulous attention to detail.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite or similar software.

Physical Requirements:

  • Ability to sit for extended periods while working on a computer.
  • Willingness to travel as necessary.
  • Capability to lift up to 15 pounds when required.
