Role Responsibilities

DISH IT Accounting and Finance is in search of a driven Senior IT Financial Analyst. This pivotal position collaborates closely with our IT leadership to gain insights into current operations and ensure optimal decision-making. The role operates in a fast-paced and often uncertain environment, making it ideal for those who thrive amidst change.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Deliver precise and timely financial reporting and accounting services for Dish Wireless, applying operational, accounting, and financial principles as per management timelines.
  • Execute monthly closing tasks, including general journal entries, balance sheet account reconciliations, and financial report preparation.
  • Foster strong relationships with senior leadership.
  • Influence senior leadership through effective financial analysis and communication.
  • Assist in all facets of annual and monthly planning, forecasting, and reporting for multiple business units.
  • Provide comprehensive analysis of financial outcomes and key performance indicators to leadership, comparing current results with budgets, previous years, and forecasts.
  • Recognize the implications of unusual items that may distort the true financial performance.
  • Enhance efficiencies in the month-end closing process.
  • Undertake additional responsibilities as required.
Qualifications and Experience

Education:
  • Bachelor's degree from an accredited institution (preferably in Finance).
  • 4+ years of progressive experience in accounting or finance within growth-oriented companies.
Skills and Competencies:
  • Proficient understanding of accounting principles, practices, and procedures (including journal entries, reconciliations, variance analysis, and US GAAP).
  • Curiosity and a strong desire to learn about complex and evolving business environments.
  • Ability to exercise independent judgment, work autonomously, and meet deadlines while establishing effective working relationships.
  • Advanced proficiency in Excel and familiarity with Oracle Financials is advantageous.
  • Clear and confident communication skills, effectively engaging with team members.
Compensation Overview

Salary Range: $72,350.00 - $103,400.00 per year.

The base salary range provided serves as a guideline. Individual total compensation may vary based on qualifications, skill levels, and competencies, and is influenced by the role's location.
