We are seeking a highly skilled Financial Analyst II to join our team at Performance Food Group. As a Financial Analyst II, you will play a critical role in supporting the finance and accounting functions for our locations. Your primary responsibilities will include performing month-end close activities, analyzing and verifying financial information, and preparing internal financial reports.
Key Responsibilities- Financial Analysis: Compile and analyze financial information to prepare entries to accounts, prepare and/or review detailed journal entries, and prepare and record month-end accruals.
- Reporting and Compliance: Prepare and publish internal month-end, quarter-end, and year-end reporting, perform moderately complex accounting reconciliations and balance sheet trend analysis, and ensure compliance with accounting and reporting deadlines.
- Process Improvement: Provide recommendations for process improvements, maintain and/or lead established moderately complex accounting projects, and perform other related duties as assigned.
- Education: Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance with a minimum GPA of 3.0.
- Experience: 0-4 years of experience in accounting or finance.
- Skills: Proficient with all Microsoft Office programs, excellent verbal and written communication skills, and strong analytical skills.
