Position Overview:

As a key player in the finance team, the Senior Analyst of Physician Compensation will be responsible for establishing and overseeing effective monitoring processes related to physician payments within the Physician Alignment Group. This role requires a proactive approach to training team members on optimal procedures and leading various month-end projects to facilitate informed decision-making.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Execute month-end close activities in collaboration with the finance team to ensure accurate physician payment reconciliation and compensation records.
  • Provide analytical support for variance analysis and senior management reporting.
  • Prepare and review financial statements, journal entries, and monthly account reconciliations.
  • Conduct monthly financial reporting and income statement analysis, along with the preparation of various standard reports.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field is required; an MBA is preferred.
  • A minimum of 3 years of experience in a finance-related role within the healthcare industry, or 5 years of experience in a finance-related role outside of healthcare.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel is essential; experience with VBA is preferred.
  • Familiarity with Epic, Lawson, Epsi, Access, and business intelligence tools is advantageous.

Physical Requirements:

  • Ability to exert/lift up to 50 lbs. occasionally, and/or up to 20 lbs. frequently, and/or up to 10 lbs. constantly.
