About the Role

The Assistant Portfolio Manager plays a crucial role in supporting the Portfolio Manager in managing multiple client sites, ensuring Servicon delivers exceptional client experiences. This position complements the Portfolio Manager's schedule and shift, and may involve managing service team members, leads, site supervisors, and/or site managers, as well as the client.

Key Responsibilities
  • Performance Management: Directs the performance of routine to complex tasks and projects, ensuring contracted services are delivered to clients' specifications.
  • Client Relations: Escalates client questions and concerns, supports contract renegotiations, and seeks new service opportunities.
  • Site Management: Ensures site staff and management understand and execute their responsibilities in a consistent, safe, and compliant manner.
  • Staffing and Recruitment: Recruits for multiple sites, including opening requisitions, selecting candidates, conducting interviews, and providing feedback and selection input.
  • Payroll and Timekeeping: Ensures payroll processes are completed for the portfolio, including reviewing and approving timesheets, and running timekeeping reports to derive meaningful workforce metrics.
  • Training and Development: Communicates and articulates safety and job-related training to service team members and managers.
  • Employee Relations: Develops and guides employees, and is the point of escalation for employee relations issues, including corrective action.
  • Inventory Management: Develops metrics for portfolio supply inventory for budgeting and client contract negotiations.
  • Cross-Departmental Collaboration: Builds relationships with cross-departmental teams to execute company strategy.
Requirements
  • 6+ years of experience in a service-related field.
  • Demonstrated ability to lead a team.
  • Maintain a consistent level of quality.
  • Proficient with technology and timekeeping systems, and proficiency with the Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Demonstrated analytical skills, ability to run relevant data and derive relevant inferences.
  • Bilingual in Spanish preferred.
  • Excellent communication skills, written and verbal.
  • Strong attention to detail and well-organized.
  • Self-starter, motivated, and reliable.
  • Ability to use discretion when dealing with sensitive and confidential information from both the client and Servicon.
  • Ability to stand on feet for four to six hours at a time.
  • Ability to lift 25 pounds.
