Job Title: Marketing Manager

We are seeking a highly skilled Marketing Manager to join our team at Transit Management of Montgomery. As a key member of our marketing team, you will be responsible for developing and executing marketing strategies to increase public awareness and ridership of our transit services.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop and implement comprehensive marketing plans to align with our strategic goals, including brand awareness, ridership growth, and community engagement.
  • Oversee our digital presence, including website content, social media platforms, email campaigns, and digital advertising to engage the public and promote services.
  • Ensure consistent branding across all platforms, marketing materials, and communication channels to strengthen our identity.
  • Work closely with community organizations, businesses, and local stakeholders to promote public transit as a valuable community resource.
  • Conduct market analysis to understand the public's needs, preferences, and behavior, and use data to inform marketing decisions.
  • Plan and execute targeted advertising campaigns through print, radio, digital, and other media channels to promote services, special promotions, and events.
  • Develop and manage the marketing budget, ensuring effective allocation of resources for maximum impact.
  • Work with local media to build positive relationships and generate coverage of our initiatives, services, and events.
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree in marketing, communications, or a related field.
  • 3-5 years of experience in marketing, with at least 2 years in a management role, preferably in public transportation, government, or a related industry.
  • Proven ability to develop and execute successful marketing campaigns across multiple channels.
  • Strong knowledge of digital marketing tools, including social media, email marketing, SEO, and online advertising.
  • Excellent communication, writing, and presentation skills.
  • Ability to work collaboratively with diverse stakeholders, including government agencies, community organizations, and the public.
  • Strong organizational and project management skills, with the ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines.
  • Experience with budget management and allocation of resources for marketing initiatives.
Preferred Skills:
  • Experience with graphic design software and tools.
  • Familiarity with public transit marketing or government communications.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment.
  • Able to work flexible hours and weekends when needed.
