Job Overview

Danfoss LLC is in search of a Senior Human Resources Manager to join our dynamic team. This pivotal role is essential for our organization, requiring a strong partnership with business leaders to support and implement strategic initiatives.

The Senior HR Manager will align business, regional, and site strategies with effective HR strategies, plans, and solutions. This position will collaborate closely with the site to attract, engage, and nurture talent, ensuring the development of capabilities necessary for both immediate and future success.


As a trusted advisor to site, business, and functional leaders, the Senior HR Manager will take proactive measures in all HR facets, including Performance Management, Employee Relations, Compensation, Engagement, and Retention.

Location: This role will be based onsite. Relocation assistance is available for qualified candidates.

Compensation: The salary range for this position is $120K to $135K, reflecting the diverse factors influencing compensation, including experience and performance.

Key Responsibilities

Responsibilities for this role include, but are not limited to:


- Collaborating with the Head of Production to establish a vision for organizational culture based on best practices.

- Developing a vision for HR best practices.
- Supporting cultural transformation initiatives.
- Demonstrating independent thinking while fostering collaboration.
- Coaching leaders on effective people management practices.
- Guiding leadership to enhance employee engagement.
- Fostering a culture of trust and guiding practices to improve it.
- Transitioning the HR function from reactive to proactive.
- Assisting managers in showcasing effective leadership on the shop floor.
- Supporting the Head of Production in establishing leadership routines and best practices.
- Acting as a sparring partner to the Head of Production in leadership matters.
- Identifying and addressing unacceptable behaviors.
- Facilitating onboarding processes and supporting managers in their leadership roles.

Qualifications

The ideal candidate will possess the following qualifications:

- Bachelor's Degree in Business, Human Resources, or a related field; a Master's degree is preferred.
- A minimum of 5 years of HR experience in a manufacturing or distribution setting.
- At least 3 years of experience leading and mentoring HR professionals.
- HR Certification (PHR/SPHR/SHRM-CP/SHRM-SCP) is highly desirable.
- Proven leadership, continuous improvement, and change management experience.
- Ability to translate strategic initiatives into actionable plans, with experience in process implementation and managing change.
- Diplomatic and adaptable, with extensive knowledge of employment laws and safety regulations.
- Passionate about fostering a dynamic work environment that inspires excellence.
- Strong relationship-building skills and a collaborative mindset.
- Experience working in a matrixed organization with remote teams.
- Minimal travel required for this position.
