Job Summary

We are seeking a highly motivated and results-driven Outside Account Executive to join our team at iHeartMedia. As a key member of our sales team, you will be responsible for identifying and developing new business opportunities, maintaining a pipeline of sales prospects, and fostering relationships with existing clients.

Key Responsibilities
  • Immerse yourself in learning iHeartMedia's Broadcast + Digital Marketing Products and stay up-to-date on industry trends and developments.

  • Meet with clients in person to understand their needs and develop tailored solutions.

  • Identify and pursue new business opportunities, leveraging your knowledge of the media industry and sales processes.

  • Foster and nurture relationships with existing clients, ensuring their satisfaction and loyalty.

  • Develop persuasive proposals and presentations to meet each client's evolving needs.

  • Collaborate with internal partners to drive revenue and meet/exceed established sales targets.

  • Create effective marketing campaigns that align with the iHeartMedia brand and resources.

  • Deliver compelling sales presentations with confidence and poise.

  • Maintain productive client communication to ensure client satisfaction and resolve any issues promptly.

  • Monitor competition to continually prospect new account leads and stay ahead of the market.

  • Negotiate rates and ensure prompt payments from clients.

  • Follow all station procedures for preparing orders, resolving billing issues, and submitting regular reports.

Requirements
  • A desire to learn and grow in a dynamic and fast-paced environment.

  • Independent, self-motivated, competitive, and assertive personality with strong problem-solving skills.

  • Strong persuasive communication skills, both verbal and written, with the ability to present complex ideas in a clear and concise manner.

  • Ability to build and maintain strong client relationships, with a focus on delivering exceptional customer service.

  • Strong analytical and time management skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks and manage multiple projects simultaneously.

  • Stress tolerance, with the ability to work well under pressure and meet deadlines.

  • Digital/Media Sales experience is a plus, as is Salesforce experience.

  • Ability to drive your own vehicle and maintain a valid driver's license and state-mandated auto insurance.

  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite and social networking platforms.
