Your Role and Responsibilities
This position is under the supervision of the Product Marketing Director. We are looking for a Product Marketing Manager to oversee our Distribution Solutions Gas Insulated Switchgear portfolio, which includes primary GIS and ring main units (RMU) tailored for the US market.

The Product Marketing Manager will play a crucial role in formulating and executing the portfolio strategy across various market segments, channels, and targeted accounts.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Developing, planning, and ensuring the execution of the local go-to-market product marketing strategy, which encompasses defining and communicating product value propositions and positioning in alignment with the global marketing strategy.
  • Focusing on achieving targets related to metrics such as total demand orders, growth margin percentage, net price variance, Net Promoter Score (NPS), inventory turnover on finished goods, and timely delivery.
  • Assessing market opportunities and determining suitable activities that align with the overarching strategy, while coordinating efforts across local divisions and business units as necessary.
  • Ensuring balanced growth across all product lines and business units, generating product demand through the promotion of technical aspects, providing solutions, and employing a value-based selling approach.

Qualifications
A Bachelor's degree is required, preferably in Electrical or Mechanical Engineering, with an MBA being advantageous. Candidates should possess over 8 years of experience in technical marketing and/or sales, with a comprehensive understanding of the electrical industry.

Applicants should demonstrate proficiency in technical comprehension, business management, and financial terminology, along with a proven track record of cross-organizational and cross-cultural collaboration and communication. Experience in engaging with senior management organizations both internally and externally is essential.

All candidates must possess valid work authorization to be eligible for employment with ABB in the US.
