Scheduling Coordinator Job Description
At Centers Plan for Healthy Living, we are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Scheduling Coordinator to join our team. As a Scheduling Coordinator, you will be responsible for assisting clinical intake staff with clerical functions, performing planning and scheduling functions for skilled nursing services, and staffing each case appropriately.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist clinical intake staff with clerical functions
- Perform planning and scheduling functions for skilled nursing services
- Staff each case appropriately, following guidelines set by the Director of Intake
- Forward all pertinent intake information to COC prior to the initial visit
- Maintain the availability list of nurses
- Obtain and maintain information related to scheduled time off of COCs
- Obtain a schedule of full-time COC to assure compliance with agency policies
- Confirm COC weekend on-call schedules and report any changes to the supervisor
- Maintain a complete and accurate scheduling log
- Alert the Director of Intake, Patient Services Manager, and Director of Managed Care with anticipated staffing shortages
- Collect and obtain information in delays in SOC, NTUCs, and relay such information to the appropriate parties
- Assist with telephone and clerical duties as directed by the supervisor
Requirements:
- High School Diploma
- Minimum one year office experience
- Effective verbal and written communication skills
- Ability to effectively multi-task
- Computer literacy and effective typing skills
Preferred Qualifications:
- Some college education
- Experience in a healthcare office setting
Job Type: Full-Time
Pay Type: Hourly
Min Hiring Rate: $19.00
Max Hiring Rate: $22.00
