Patient Care Coordinator

Job Summary:
Sun River Health is seeking a Patient Care Coordinator to provide patient-centered care and facilitate access to services in a pleasant, knowledgeable, and efficient manner. The ideal candidate will have excellent interpersonal skills and be able to communicate effectively with a diverse population.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist with daily reception activities and ensure that all processes needed for patient services are initiated.
- Communicate effectively with team members and patients about all aspects of service.
- Responsible for telephone and mail contact with patients.
- Responsible for the scheduling of appointments, fee collection, explanation of services and charges for patient services.
- Distribute materials to patients, including patient satisfaction cards, patient rights, and other appropriate materials.
- Verify all insurance and set fees based on the sliding scale fee.
Requirements:
- High School diploma/GED
- 2-4 years of work-related experience
- Bilingual in both English and Spanish (orally and written)
Work Environment:
This is a part-time position with a competitive hourly rate of $20.00-$21.50. The ideal candidate will be able to work in a fast-paced environment and provide excellent customer service to patients and staff.
