Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Department Administrator to join our team at TalentBurst, an Inc 5000 company. The successful candidate will provide administrative leadership to the Department of Oral Medicine, Infection and Immunity, serving as an administrative assistant, strategic partner, and advisor to the Chair.

Key Responsibilities
  • Manage the department's budgets and four program/division budgets, including developing budgets, making budget projections, and forecasting budget surpluses and deficits.
  • Directly manage the payment of all invoices for the department and its programs/divisions, as well as manage all incoming monies.
  • Serve as the human resources contact for department personnel, collaborating with HSDM HR and HUCTW as appropriate.
  • Manage all OMII appointments and re-appointments, including clinical, research, and affiliate appointments.
  • Lead, manage, and prepare all required materials for visa processing.
  • Partner with other departments throughout the School to complete responsibilities related to departmental and School-wide initiatives.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent work experience required.
  • Minimum of 3 years' relevant work experience.
  • Strong computer skills and proficiency in Microsoft Applications and web-based applications.
  • Ability to perform the essential functions of the position with or without reasonable accommodation.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Master's degree preferred.
  • Prior successful supervisory experience is strongly preferred.
