Position Title: Scrum Master Senior I

Position Overview: We are seeking a Scrum Master Senior I to oversee Agile project management initiatives within our operations. This role is REMOTE with occasional travel to client sites as necessary.

Role Responsibilities: The Scrum Master Senior I will facilitate Agile practices, guiding cross-functional teams in the execution of projects. You will be responsible for removing obstacles, ensuring adherence to Agile methodologies, and fostering an environment of continuous improvement and high-quality deliverables.

Key Qualifications:

  • At least 8 years of experience in IT service management, particularly with Agile methodologies.
  • In-depth knowledge of ITIL principles and best practices.
  • Proficiency in Agile frameworks and tools, including Scrum, Kanban, or SAFe.
  • Strong analytical skills with a focus on identifying trends and improvement opportunities.
  • Exceptional communication and teamwork abilities.
  • Solid technical expertise in AWS services and best practices.
  • Demonstrated leadership in managing IT teams and delivering quality outcomes.
  • Experience with ServiceNow, specifically in incident, problem, and change management.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • AWS certification (e.g., AWS Certified Cloud Practitioner, AWS Certified DevOps Engineer, or AWS Certified SysOps Administrator) is advantageous.

Minimum Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or equivalent experience.
  • Industry-recognized Scrum Master certification may substitute for a degree.
  • Minimum of 8 years of relevant experience with strong communication and negotiation skills.
  • Expertise in Agile practices and service-oriented environments.
  • Thorough understanding of iterative development fundamentals, including backlog tracking and burndown metrics.
  • Experience with distributed software development teams.
  • Proven ability to lead cross-functional teams and provide technical guidance.
  • Capacity to prioritize competing requirements effectively.
  • Proficient in managing Agile software development efforts and resolving technical and organizational challenges.
  • Ability to coach and mentor on Agile principles and practices.
  • Must be a U.S. citizen eligible for a Secret security clearance.
