Position Title: Scrum Master Journeyman I

Position Summary: We are currently seeking a Scrum Master Journeyman I to support Agile project management initiatives within our CECOM SETA Support contract. This role is REMOTE with occasional travel required.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Facilitate Agile project management processes, ensuring adherence to Agile principles.
  • Lead cross-functional teams and assist in removing obstacles to project success.
  • Promote continuous improvement and high-quality outcomes within the team.

Essential Qualifications:

  • A minimum of 3 years of experience in IT service management with a focus on Agile methodologies.
  • Strong understanding of ITIL principles and best practices.
  • Proficiency in Agile frameworks such as Scrum, Kanban, or SAFe.
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Strong communication and collaboration abilities.
  • Technical expertise in AWS services and best practices.
  • Proven leadership skills in managing IT teams.
  • Experience with ServiceNow, including incident, problem, and change management.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • AWS certification (e.g., AWS Certified Cloud Practitioner, AWS Certified DevOps Engineer) is advantageous.

Minimum Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or equivalent experience.

  • Understanding of iterative development fundamentals.
  • Experience with distributed software development teams.
  • Ability to prioritize competing requirements effectively.

  • Ability to eliminate technical and organizational barriers.
  • Must be a U.S. citizen eligible for a Secret security clearance.
